Challenges With Previous System

  1. The fingerprint system needed to be replaced by facial recognition, which was one of the significant changes they wanted during covid in their organization.
  2. The primary concern which client was facing was the availability of proper mounting space. Also, wanted a user-friendly system which was easy to adapt and quick to use.
  3. Professors needed to work even on an hourly and slot wise basis. So, marking attendance and handling their payroll cycle was tricky. Also, some employees were on a contractual basis, so managing that workforce and getting their exact data on a timely basis was a challenge.
  4. Client needed a real-time dashboard for analysing and managing the attendance data.
  5. Integration with their central ERP was not appropriate which led to attendance issues.
  6. There was no mechanism of auto emailer on critical reports.

Solutions

  1. Client was so satisfied and delighted with our facial recognition attendance device that they wanted to add 1000 more employees to the existing system, to optimize their HR work.
  2. Kent device was easy to install and use. It turned out to be a smart and secure way to upgrade from the traditional ways of managing attendance.
  3. Kent device helped with the shift management. Managing shifts for the permanent and contractual professors was easier. Now, shifts were dynamically assigned to the staff keeping in mind their lecture schedules.
  4. Client was offered different dashboards for employees/supervisors/HR. Now, they could keep a track of Multi punching, Late coming etc.
  5. The device was successfully integrated with the client's current ERP using Kent API to make their attendance process easy.
  6. Whenever clients required access to reports on a timely basis, they could easily schedule it on their email FTP server.
